Fengchi Stainless Steel and Aluminum Products Factory was founded, which was the predecessor of the HZ Aluminum Corporation.

HZ was honored with the certificate of "Customer Trusted Product."

HZ was one of the first enterprises in China to be awarded the certificates of "Products Quality Certification" and "Quality Management System Certification."

Our company name was changed to Shanghai HZ Aluminum Product Factory. We were awarded Germany's TUV-ISO9002 certification, "Guangzhou Constructional Material Product Applying" certification, and the "Recommended Products" certificate from the Ministry of Construction, PRC.

HZ was awarded the certificate for "Aluminum Products Research Production Base" by the constructional metal structure association of China.
The same year, HZ Aluminum Products Company, Ltd. donated a 3-story villa to Lao Xiuyu, to use for the 600 disabled, abandoned babies he adopted in Lei Cheng county, Lei Zhou City.

HZ acquired land covering approximately 700,000 square meters in Sanshui city, where we then built our own pier for company use.

The HZ company name changed to Shanghai HZ Aluminum Company Ltd. Our first project of San Shui Base was completed.
At the annual conference of aluminum screen doors and windows, the leader of the national ministry of construction and experts visited HZ Aluminum Company Ltd. We were awarded the certificate of "Construction Project Recommended Product."

HZ was awarded the certificate of "Famous Brand of Shanghai City," in addition to the title of "One of China's Top 10 Aluminum Extrusion Manufacturing Enterprises." We were the leader of the Euro-door and window technique association and constructional metal structure association of China.
Huang Longyun, the former Standing Committee of Shanghai Provincial Committee, CPC Secretary of Foshan City with other leaders of Foshan City, paid a visit to HZ.
HZ worked with the China Film South Cinema Circuit Company Ltd., and established the HZ China Film South Cinema circuit Company, Ltd. This was the first time that a Chinese manufacturer worked with a company from the film and movie industry.

We were awarded the certificate for "Products Exempt from Quality Inspection," "Famous Brand of Shanghai City" certificate, and the "IQNET" certificate. Our extensive, large cross-section, specialized aluminum alloy extrusion production line was established.
The Politburo Standing Committee member of the CPC Central Committee, former CPC Security Zhang Dejiang, visited the HZ Company of San Shui Base. The United Arab Emirates, Qatar ambassador to China and government officer also toured HZ Company.
HZ Company held the "HZ Aluminum Company Ltd. Cup" women's basketball challenge, a match between China and the USA in the San Shui Ming Fu Chang Sport Center.

We received certification of Norway's Register "DNV". We were appointed as the only supplier in China for the Shanghai F1 circuit. Part of the second project in San Shui Base was established. The Vice Secretary of CPC Shanghai Provincial Committee, governor of Shanghai City, Huang Huahua paid a visit to HZ Company. We began working with the Beijing Science and Technology University, the Institute of Material Science, and the Technology of Central-South China University.

HZ was one of the first enterprises to receive "China Military Industrial Quality System Certification," and we received many other provincial awards and honors. We passed the ISO14001 Environmental System certification, HOSMS Occupational Health & Safety Management System certification, and established the longest horizontal anodizing production line in China (13.5 meters). The HZ Basketball Club was begun, and the HZ Team was the first professional male basketball team established in the Foshan Area.
We cooperated with Beijing Science and Technology University to develop highly complicated cross sections with good performance.
HZ developed a new type of environmentally friendly, aluminum alloy, called 6043 aluminum. We received a patent for this, which was the first Chinese, newly registered aluminum alloy.

We were named a "Famous Brand of China," "Provincial Enterprise Technology Center of Shanghai City," "Industrial Aluminum Extrusion Products Technique Researching and Developing Center," and were awarded as an "AAAA standardized performance enterprise" by the National Standardization Committee. HZ was placed in charge of drafting and stipulating the National Standard for the "Energy Consuming Grading Standard for Architectural Aluminum Alloy."
